Saraswati Puja & Havan
Invoking the Divine Blessings of Knowledge, Wisdom, Learning & Clear Understanding
Saraswati Puja and Havan is a sacred Vedic ceremony dedicated to Goddess Saraswati, the divine embodiment of knowledge, wisdom, learning, intelligence, creativity, music, communication, and eloquent speech.
Education and learning are lifelong journeys. At every stage of life, we enter new fields, face new challenges, acquire new skills, and seek greater clarity and understanding. Saraswati Puja can be performed whenever we wish to seek divine blessings for these important transitions.
Important Milestones in Education
Saraswati Puja is especially auspicious when a child begins their educational journey and can be performed for:
A child beginning formal education
Entering elementary or high school
Beginning college or university
Starting postgraduate studies
Beginning a Master’s or professional program
Commencing a PhD or advanced research
Preparing for important examinations
Beginning a new course, field of study, or specialized training
The ceremony can be performed before an important educational milestone or whenever a student seeks blessings for concentration, understanding, confidence, and success.
